Styrian apple trees in the Daniel Garden
Urban gardening is an important subject at the Daniel. As well as the combination of tradition, art, urban feeling and solar energy. That’s why our Styrian “Schafnasen” apple trees moved from the 7th floor down to the urban hotel garden. Being separated from Erwin Wurm‘s stranded sailboat wasn’t easy, but the space is needed for brand new solar panels.
In order to be able to use solar energy in the future when another apple pie is baked with the delicious little “Schafnasen” and offered in the bakery.
And we are looking forward to our guests finding a shady spot under the apple trees in summer.
